MCS / MIT / MSc (Software Engineering), relevant diploma/certifications. BS Software Engineering / BSCS or 16 years of education in a relevant field with 5 years experience in Database designing and Management and diploma/certifications in a relevant field. International Tier 2 certification in Oracle Database will be preferred.
Job Expectation:
Install Oracle software and create an Oracle database.
Starting up and shutting down the database.
Installation of Oracle RAC and enabling Oracle database/application live replication of DR site.
Manage the database storage structures.
Manage users and security.
Manage Schema objects, such as tablets, indexes, and views.
Make database backups and perform recovery when necessary.
Proactive monitoring of the database's health and taking preventive and corrective action as required.
Monitor and tune performance.
Tune all Oracle instance components including SQL and PL / SQL.
Monitor concurrent manager.
Approve changes to database design.
Manage Meta link Users & manage Service Request (Meta link).
